New Holland recognizes biodiesel as an integral part of the future energy equation. It offers potential ecological benefits and is seen as a renewable energy source - important to many of our customers. We recognize this importance and the opportunities that it brings - benefits tied to lower emissions and greater energy independence. But it is also has a positive overall impact on agriculture offering the power of choice to the customer. Today, 55% of all New Holland diesel engines are fully compatible with B100 usage with minimal impact to the user. It is our intent to be prepared for wide spread use when the quality and supply of the fuel is available to the market. New Holland fully supports the research activities like that being done at Penn State and other institutions across the globe as an important step to understanding alternatives.
